Jannat Suleman

Jannat Suleman is currently an undergraduate student in her first year of BA English at King’s College London. During her time at Iqra Academy Peterborough, she raised funds for local charity Children of Adam and helped organise a successful ‘Eco-Friendly Clean Up’ to improve the outdoor space for the younger pupils. Jannat has volunteered at events such as The Great Get Together and Visit My Mosque open days to promote community integration. Her voluntary work with the Peterborough Racial Equality Council included moderating and leading questionnaire and interview sessions with young people on the sensitive topic of the Prevent strategy. She has produced and directed a successful play during her time at The King’s School Peterborough and has spoken several times on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire as well as co-presenting on Salaam Radio.
