62 Gladstone Street is a new platform for British Muslim artists to share their work in an inclusive, shared community arts space in Peterborough. The gallery, exhibitions and events reflect contemporary issues affecting both Muslims and non-Muslims today.
‘Faith in 2020’ runs from April – September including a summer programme for young people with wraparound events, film screenings, talks and workshops.
Faith in Community embraces Peterborough’s long-standing issues on a large scale looking at drug use and homelessness, particularly in Millfield where the gallery is based.
Faith in Sport looks at representation in sports. This exhibition will coincide with the Olympics to create an opportunity to see practising Muslims in sport, to inspire local people to look to sport as an alternative lifestyle choice.
