Emily Steele

Born and raised in Peterborough, Emily Steele is a freelance filmmaker, film programmer and workshop leader. She is the founder and director of Cine-Sister which showcases and promotes films with female identifying filmmakers. She is also the festival director of the Gateway Film Festival. 

She has an MA in Film Programming and Curating from Birkbeck College, University of London and a BA in Filmmaking from Manchester School of Art.
